BT Wholesale
We provide the heartbeat for the UK’s society and economy. Our role is to run BT’s networks. We provide solutions and services for more than 600 customers which comprise fixed and mobile communications companies, internet connections, as well as other providers and BT itself.
Our network handles:
- more than 300 million calls every day
- 350 million internet connections every month
BT Operate
We are responsible for deploying and running communications services for customers over BT's core network and systems and are responsible for implementing BT's global 21CN platform.
Our team is responsible for the overall customer experience and helping BT to deliver its right first time target of 95% by March 2009. We apply stringent standards to testing, planning, operating and monitoring our software-driven services and networks. Our customers are BT's market facing units who work with all types of customers from consumers to multi-nationals.
Openreach
Openreach owns, maintains and develops the access network which links homes and businesses to the networks of Britain’s communications providers, offering equivalency in a clear, measurable way. Communications Providers are our customers, their customers are residential or businesses that use their services. We ensure accessibility to the network backed by a dependable, future-proof network.
